nsidc.org – US National Snow and Ice Data Center. For those that like to know more about the world of snow and ice.

uiaa.ch – UIAA or International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation. Very good resource about anything you can do in mountains.

whistlerblackcomb.com/weather/advisory – Official website of Whistler Ski Resort offers some useful information as well.

banffcentre.ca/mountainculture/festivals/ - Official website of the world famous Banff Mountain Film Festival.

howstuffworks.com – Excellent resource for any type of question. Getting annoying with ads but the information are worth it.
